The Most Photogenic Airbnbs in Charleston, SC to Rent for Your Photo Shoot
For your half day branding shoot, choosing an indoor location can feel overwhelming if you don’t have your own indoor space. Did you know that many people rent Airbnbs for the purpose of taking photographs there? This blog posts outlines several Airbnbs in Charleston that are great options for your branding photo shoot.
You have time to travel to up to 2-3 locations for your half-day branding shoot. This of course depends on the distance between the locations that you choose. We do not want to take away from photo shoot time, so a standard rule is to keep the different locations within 20 minutes of each other at the most.
For example, if you’d really like to take photos on the streets of Downtown Charleston (which many people do), consider choosing your Airbnb in Downtown Charleston as well. Or if you’d like part of your photo shoot to be outside at Folly beach, consider doing your indoor portion in an Airbnb on James Island. Your photo shoot locations don’t necessarily need to be in the same part of town, but it certainly does help with time restrictions and traveling. And you will be less stressed. Trust us, you want this process to be as stress-free as possible!
As far as timing goes, most Airbnbs will only let you rent the space for the rate of an overnight stay, even if you plan to use it for only a couple of hours for your shoot. Sometimes there are exceptions to this, but plan to pay for the full overnight stay if you’d like to rent one. It’s worth a try though to see if you can rent it for just a few hours! The positive side to renting for the full overnight stay is that you’ll have the space for a full 24 hours, and we won’t have to rush out once we are done photographing there. Also, you won’t have to worry about packing up your belongings right after we are finished photographing in the Airbnb and transitioning to the next location. You can always leave your things there and come back to gather them after the photo shoot is over!
