Photoshoot with Enjely Mora Klapper
I’m thrilled to have ended 2018 with another branding photography session centered around health + wellness with Enjie.
Enjie is studying to be a registered dietitian in the greater Boston area. Currently in school, she’s prepping for her glorious entrance into the world of health + wellness and being her own boss. To compliment this, she wanted professional photos taken of her to help promote and brand herself through a future website and social media.
One of the things that makes Enjie really unique is her Dominican heritage. She is one of the only Latinos in her program who is studying to be a registered dietitian. Her future goal is to help get the Latino community into health and wellness while incorporating traditional foods and recreation. But first, she has to finish school, which she strives to finish in 2020. After that, she hopes to get enough experience in the healthcare environment, to then launch her own business.
When Enjie and I initially talked, she told me that her biggest priority was incorporating something into her photos that would set her apart from other health coaches and stressed her Dominican heritage. One of her ideas was to showcase a basket of tropical fruits that are commonly used in Dominican cuisine (see below). In our short (but effective) 30-minute session, we successfully incorporated the fruit into her photos to help brand and shine a light on her authentic self.
I’m so excited to see Enjie continue her journey into becoming an RD and feel privileged to become involved in the beginning stages of her career! She is paving the way to success by investing early in professional photographs of herself. It’s honestly never too early to start somewhere - whether that be making a website, going back to school, starting a FB page, or just spreading the word that you’re making a change.
Don’t wait and let your talents go to waste. Take initiative and start somewhere, like Enjie. Check out my personal branding and professional headshot packages here.
