Tips on What to Bring to a Branding Photo Shoot
What should I bring to a branding photo shoot?
If you have a branding photo shoot scheduled, you are probably wondering what to bring so that you are prepared.
What you bring to your photo shoot may be different than what another business owner may bring to their photo shoot, but the general list is pretty simple. Here is a summary of what you can bring to your branding photo shoot to be on top of your game!
Things to bring to your branding photo shoot:
1) All of your props - if you’re a dietitian, then some props may be: your fitbit, cell phone, laptop, ingredients to make your meals, client questionnaire forms, workout equipment, etc. If you’re a yoga instructor, you would probably end up bringing your mat, blocks, water, and a towel. Your branding photographer should have given you a list of props you will need ahead of time so that you will know what to bring.
2) A portable mirror & hairbrush - I always have these things handy with me, but many people prefer to use their own (especially a hair brush).
3) A facecloth - just in case it’s warm and you start sweating, this is always handy to have!
4) Any makeup that you think may need to be refreshed - if you do not have a makeup artist on site.
5) Hair elastics and bobby pins - just in case!
6) Water - this is always a must! Since branding shoots tend to run pretty long, having water available is important because 9 times out of 10, you will get thirsty and need to stay hydrated.
7) A rolling suitcase - this is the best option for packing all of your things. Make sure it is a rolling suitcase so that you don’t have to physically carry your bag around. It just makes life 10x easier.
8) Your wardrobe & accessories - this is a no-brainer, but make sure you pack all of your outfits and accessories that you discussed with your branding photographer!
