Kiki and Mike's Wedding at Zuka's Hilltop Barn
As 2018 quickly welcomes a new year around the corner, wedding season in New England wraps up. The first week of November brought a never ending stream of cloudy and rainy days, and then miraculously welcomed November 4th with an array of sunshine. This beautiful day brought family and friends together at Zuka’s Hilltop Barn in Spencer, MA to gather for the special union of Kiki and Mike.
Kiki and Mike’s love story began once they met while working together - and the rest is history. They wanted a small and intimate wedding that included their five beautiful children, with no groomsmen or bridesmaids.
The kids were a joy to watch during the ceremony as they walked down the aisle with excited expressions showcased across their faces. It was amazing to photograph their reactions while they watched in awe of their mom and dad up front.
The reception was a beautiful gathering of family and friends with the bride’s father leading a heart-warming toast, followed by the first dances and cake cutting. The kids and their cousins enjoyed the rest of the night dancing with each other and alongside their parents, and guests took candid Polaroids and signed the guest book up front.
The day was overall full of beautiful memories. I didn’t expect to become emotional, but I couldn’t help myself during the ceremony and first dances as the undying love between the bride and groom emulated throughout the room. It was obvious that Kiki and Mike share a very special and loving bond with each other.
I’ll never forget this experience and the love that I felt that day. Thank you Kiki and Mike for allowing me to be a part of this experience and giving me the opportunity to photograph my first wedding with you.
